Privacy policy

Filler Charts is a static website. It has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies. This page explains what is stored when you use the site and the choices you have, including the cookie notice shown to visitors in the European Union.

What is stored on your device

The site keeps a few preferences in your browser's local storage. This is not a cookie and it is not sent with every request. It stays on your device until you clear it:

• Your theme (light or dark).
• Your preferred chart layout (columns or blocks).
• The episodes you marked as watched in the skip planner.
• The votes you cast and your cookie choice.

If you decline the cookie notice, these necessary preferences still work because they are required for the features you use. No other data is stored.

Voting

When you vote, the server stores the anime, the episode, your choice and a salted hash derived from your network address and browser. The raw address is never stored. The hash exists only to stop one person voting many times and to enforce a hourly limit.

Third parties

Posters are loaded directly from third-party image hosts such as MyAnimeList, which can see your network address when your browser requests an image. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests and may set strictly necessary security cookies to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not run analytics or advertising services.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because the site stores no account and no raw address, the only personal data tied to you is the anonymous vote hash, which cannot be linked back to you by us. To exercise any right, write to contact@fillercharts.com.

Data retention

Votes are kept so that community results stay stable. Local storage stays in your browser until you delete it. Server logs kept by Cloudflare are limited and short lived, in line with their own privacy policy.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The current version always lives at this address.
